14 Jun Monday Message: Your Cup Runs Over, See the Good, Choose Joy!
E ku ojo aje! Happy Monday family! I pray you are getting off to a great start, thank you to all of you who were with us on Clubhouse this morning, it’s always a high time.
As we do, we recapped our Sunday Orisa Prayer and Meditation message from Ogun which reminded us that there are places we will need to go and that we should not be afraid of being solitary. There are too many of us waiting on others – parents, partners, friends – to do the things we want and need to do for ourselves. Ogun remind us that we have all the tools we need to make our life journey what it is meant to be. Walk forward confidently and know that those who are meant to walk with you will.
Our card for this week is the overflowing love of the Ace of Cups which reminds us of the abundance of love all around us, starting with that which we pour on ourselves. Our cups run over if only we allow ourselves to see it and bask in the beautiful flow. This week look for love from you first: treat yourself to something sweet, take a spiritual bath, pray over yourself, love on yourself like only you can!
While you’re doing that, our crystal of the week Dalmatian Jasper (aka Dalmatian Stone), comes in to remind us of all of the joy to be found in life. There is hardship, there are challenges, sure, but there is also so much goodness around us if we allow ourselves to embrace it. Remember the adage: turn your face always toward the light in the shadows will fall behind. This is not a call for unhealthy positivism, but for an orientation toward gratitude and appreciation which is one of the foundations of the iwa pele (humble and gentle) character that we as practitioners of Ifa-Orisa are always seeking.
Sending you lots of love, as always! Join remember to visit the shop for books, spiritual supplies and more and check out the events page to stay connected with all that’s happening at Ase Ire! You’re also always welcome to send me a text at 917-634-4680 to stay in even closer contact. Ire o! All blessings!
